OMAHA, Neb. –
Madison Glennie finished in fourth-place to lead the Drake University women's golf team at the Creighton Classic on Tuesday at the Oak Hills Country Club.
Glennie recorded her second top-10 finish of the season after firing a four-over par, 76, for a total score of 154 (78-76). Sophomore
Grace Dunn shot an 81 on the final day for a total score of 160 (79-81) and finished tied for 19th. Freshman
Aimee Gerschke also carded an 81 for a total score of 165 (84-81).
Brooke Miller and
Reilly Krohe recorded scores of 178 (89-89) and 202 (97-105), respectively.
"This wasn't the finish we wanted to close out the fall season, golf wise and health wise," said Drake head coach
Rachael Pruett. "The offseason will be more important than ever to rehab our injuries and improve our golf games as we had into the spring season."
The Bulldogs totaled a 327 for a combined score of 657 (330-327) to finish tied for eighth-place with Omaha.
The Creighton Classic concluded the Bulldogs' fall season.
