Drake (17-6, 10-2 MVC) had a total team effort in its 98-58 win over Illinois State on Friday night as all nine Bulldogs scored at least three points and all nine knocked down at least one three-pointer as the team made a season-high 15 from behind the arc. Drake finished at 53.5 percent shooting from the field (38-of-71) and 46.9 percent (15-of-32) from three.

Lizzy Wendell (Blue Springs, Mo.) scored a game-high 26 points, adding six rebounds, six assists, four steals and one assist in 26 minutes. Wendell's big scoring night moved her to 10
th all-time at Drake in career points with 1,685 as she passed former standout and the 2012 MVC Player of the Year, Rachael Hackbarth (1,659 points, 2008-12). Joining Wendell in double figures was freshman
Sara Rhine (Eldon, Mo.) with 20 points who also added nine rebounds while junior
Caitlin Ingle (Runnells, Iowa) scored 10 points and handed out a game-leading eight assists. Three other Bulldogs scored nine points.
Drake dished out an impressive 26 assists on 38 field goals in the win as the Bulldogs average 18.9 assists per game, which ranks sixth in the nation. Drake's 98 points against the Redbirds improved its league-leading scoring average to 81.3 points per game. The scoring clip ranks seventh in the country.
Indiana State (9-13, 5-6 MVC) lost to UNI on Friday by a score of 61-45 as the Sycamores are 3-3 in their last six games. Indiana State holds opponents to a league-low 59.0 points per game.
