ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake University's 
Calum MacGeoch was named Missouri Valley Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday, March 1. 
MacGeoch is the fifth Bulldog to receive the weekly award. Senior 
Ben Lott was last week's recipient, while sophomore 
Ben Stride earned the honor on Feb. 16 and freshman 
Vinny Gillespie and 
Bayo Philips received the award in January. 
MacGeoch was a perfect 6-0 for the week and helped the Bulldogs go 3-0 with wins over No. 33 Iowa, Michigan State and No. 65 Cornell. He came back from being a set down to beat Iowa's Robin Haden 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 4 and then cruised past Michigan State's Jasper Koenen at No. 3, 6-4, 6-1 and Cornell's Benardo Casares 6-2, 6-2 at No.4, extending his singles winning streak to seven matches. In doubles, MacGeoch teamed up with 
Ben Stride and countrymen 
Vinny Gillespie and posted a 3-0 record. MacGeoch and Stride rolled past Iowa's Robin Haden and Nils Hallestrand, 6-1 at No. 3. MacGeoch and Gillespie then put together a pair of 6-1 win at No. 2 over Michigan State and Cornell to help Drake earn the doubles point in both matches. 
MacGeoch and the rest of the Bulldogs host Brown and No. 49 Wisconsin on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
