TERRE HAUTE, Ind. –
Madison Glennie and
Grace Dunn led the Drake University women's golf team on the first day of the Indiana State Spring Invitational on Sunday at the Country Club of Terre Haute.
"Madison and Grace both finished their rounds strong today, something we've been working on," Drake head coach
Rachael Pruett said. "As a team we need to clean up the mental errors and we'll see a big improvement."
Glennie and Dunn each fired a 79 and are tied for 21
st-place. Freshman
Adrianna Elliott registered an 83, while senior
Katie Clausen shot a 90. Freshman
Sophie Hill rounded out the Bulldogs' effort with a 94.
As a team, the Bulldogs finished the first 18 holes with a 331 and tied for 12
th-place with Evansville.
Drake closes out the ISU Spring Invite on Monday at 10 a.m.
