WICHITA, Kan. – The 22^nd-ranked Wichita State Shockers swept the Drake University women's tennis team, 4-0, on Sunday at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.

The Shockers won No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take a 1-0 lead.

Wichita State continued its momentum from doubles into singles, winning the first set in five of the six courts. Drake's Mariel Ante was the only Bulldog to win a set as she went unfinished with Gabriela Porubin, 4-6, 4-1 at No. 1. WSU' Abby Stevens defeated Mela Jaglarz, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6, while Giulia Guidetti beat Summer Brills, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 to put the Shockers up 3-0. Aleks Trifunovic clinched the match for the Shockers with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Joely Lomas at No. 5.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, April 16 at Evansville.
