EDISON, N.J. – The Drake University rowing team placed 19 student-athletes on the 2015-16 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Academic Honor Roll. The Drake rowing program is an associate member of the MAAC. Drake had the highest total of honorees among the associate members that compete in just one women's sport.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members in the MAAC. All 25 sports that the conference sponsors are represented. A total of 2,181 student-athletes have been honored for academic achievements by being named to the MAAC Honor Roll.
