DES MOINES, Iowa – Fifth-year senior Eric Saubert was named to the 2016 Hero Sports Preseason FCS All-America second-team, it was announced this week.
 
Saubert received first-team STATS Preseason All-America honors earlier this month. Last year, the tight end from Hoffman Estates, Ill. caught 55 passes to lead the nation's tight ends and ranked in the top-three among tight ends with 506 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior.
 
The Bulldogs kick off the 2016 season at Drake Stadium on Sept. 3 when they take on Quincy.
