DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's tennis Joely Lomas finished in first-place at the Drake Invitational on Sunday at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
 
Lomas defeated Northern Iowa's Astrid Santos, 6-3, 6-4 to win the Flight "B" singles championship.
 
Drake will return to action on Friday, Sept. 30 at the Air Force Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colo.
