DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's tennis team hosts the Drake Invitational on Friday through Sunday at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center to open the fall season.
 
The Bulldogs welcome six teams; Creighton, Gustavus Adolphus, Lewis, North Dakota, Northern Illinois and Northwest Missouri State. Action will get under way at 4 p.m. on Friday and return at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
 
Fifth-year head coach Davison Kozlowski returns seven letter winners, juniors Calum MacGeoch, Bayo Philips, Ben Stride, Ben Wood and sophomores Ben Clark, Vinny Gillespie and Tom Hands. The squad welcomes two freshmen, Jackson Guilford from Indianola, Iowa and Barnaby Thorold from England.
 
Following the Drake Invitational, the Bulldogs head to Tulsa, Okla. for the ITA All-American tournament on Oct. 1.
