TULSA, Okla. –
Grace Dunn and
Madison Glennie ended the first day of the Bob Hurley ORU Shootout in the top-20 to lead the Drake University women's golf team on Monday.
Dunn started her day by shooting a 78 and then fired a one-over par 72 for a total score of 150 and is tied for seventh-place. Glennie also carded a 78 in the first 18 holes and cut three strokes in her second round for a total score of 153 (78-75) and is tied for 17th-place. Freshmen
Sigurlaug Jonsdottir and
Aimee Gerschke recorded scores of 166 (84-82) and 176 (91-85), respectively.
Brooke Miller rounded out the Bulldogs' day with a score of 177 (88-89).
Through 36 holes, the Bulldogs are in 15th-place out of 17 teams with a score of 642 (328-314). MVC-foe Northern Iowa is in 17th-place with a score of 660 (332-328).
Drake will close out its outing in Tulsa, Okla. on Tuesday for the final round of the Bob Hurley ORU Shootout.
