DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake women's golf team travels to Cape Girardeau, Mo. for the Missouri Valley Conference Preview on Oct. 3-4.
All 10 MVC teams will play in the 54-hole event as a preview for the conference championship tournament, which will be played in April.
In Drake's last time out, the Bulldogs recorded a 315 on the final day for a total score of 957 (328-314-315). Junior
Madison Glennie was the team's top scorer as she recorded a total score of 231 (78-75-78) and finished tied for 23rd-place. Sophomore
Grace Dunn finished with a score of 234 (78-72-84), while freshman
Sigurlaug Jonsdottir carded the best round of the day for the Bulldogs, shooting a 75 for a total score of 241 (84-82-75).
Following the MVC Preview, Drake will play in Creighton Classic on Oct. 17-18 to wrap up the fall season.
