DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's golf team is set to play its final tournament of the fall season on Monday and Tuesday at the MVC Fall Preview in Newton, Kan. at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
 
All 10 MVC teams including former member Wichita State will play in the 54-hole event as a preview for the conference championship tournament, which will be played in April.
 
The Bulldogs are coming off hosting a shortened Drake Bulldog Invitational as the final round was canceled due to weather. On the first day of the event, Grace Dunn led the 44-player field through 18-holes as she fired a two-over par 74. She then recorded an 80 to finish the day in second-place with a total score of 154. Sophomore Aimee Gerschke registered a total score of 165 (83-82) and tied for 23rd-place, while fellow sophomore Sigurlaug Jonsdottir carded a 166 (84-82).
