DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's golf travels to North Carolina for its final tournament of the fall season at ODU/OBX Intercollegiate on Sunday through Tuesday at the Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powells Point, N.C.
The 54-hole event is hosted by Old Dominion and features 18 teams; Akron, Ball State, Campbell, Delaware, Drake, Drexel, George Mason, Georgetown, Hartford, Longwood, Manhattan, Marshall, North Dakota State, Omaha, Saint Francis, Saint Joseph's and Towson.
Competition will get underway at 8:30 a.m. EST on Sunday and Monday and 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
In the Bulldogs, last time out they completed at the Fighting Irish Classic on Oct. 9. Sophomore
Kyle MacDonald fired a career-low 68 on the final day to lead the team with a score of 212 (71-73-68) and finished tied for 17th-place. Junior
Jack Kennedy tied for 25th-place with a score of 214 (69-75-70).
Following the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate the Bulldogs will use the next four months to prepare for their spring opener on Feb. 12-13 at the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play in Tampa, Fla.
