DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake University's Calum MacGeoch was named Missouri Valley Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday, March 21.
 
MacGeoch, a junior from Edinburgh, Scotland, helped lead the Bulldogs to a consolation championship at the San Diego Spring Break Tournament and went a combined 5-1 for the week. He cruised past San Diego's Joshua Page 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3. MacGeoch extended his winning streak to four matches with a hard fought 4-6, 7-5, 7-6 (5) victory at No. 2 singles to secure the 4-3 win for the Bulldogs over Arizona. In doubles, he went 3-0 to help Drake win the doubles point in all three matches for the week.
 
MacGeoch and the rest of the Bulldogs are set to host Nebraska on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
