DES MOINES, Iowa – Former Bulldog
Eric Saubert participated at the NFL Combine last week in Lucas Oil Stadium and performed on-field testing in front of NFL coaches and scouts.
Saubert, who measured in at 6-5 and 253 pounds earlier in the combine, was tied for second among tight ends on the bench press, lifting 225 pounds 22 times. He recorded a 33-inch vertical jump and 121-inch broad jump, which put him in the upper half among tight ends. Saubert was perfect in the on-field position drills, catching every ball that was thrown at him.
Saubert will have one more chance to impress NFL scouts and coaches later this month during his Pro Day.
