DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake University football's Terry Wallen was named to the STATS FCS Preseason All-America Team on Monday, July 31.
 
Wallen, a senior from Brookfield, Wis., garnered punt returner third-team All-America honors. Last season, he ranked second nationally with a 14.8-yard average per punt return. Wallen returned 16 punts for 236 yard to earn All-Pioneer Football honorable mention honors. He also led the Bulldogs with four interceptions and recorded 27 tackles.
 
Wallen and the rest of the Bulldogs open the 2017 season on Sept. 2 when they host South Dakota at Drake Stadium.
