ST. LOUIS – The Drake University women's soccer team is picked to finish second in the 2017 Missouri Valley Conference women's soccer preseason coaches poll, the MVC announced Monday, Aug. 14. Drake tallied with 51 points, including one first place vote, as the 2016 MVC champions, Illinois State were tabbed as the preseason favorite with 63 points (seven first-place votes).
The Bulldogs placed two student-athletes on the preseason all-conference team in junior
