ELMHURST, Ill. – For the second-straight week and fourth time this season a Bulldog was named Summit League Men's Tennis Player of the Week as junior
Tom Hands received the honor Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Hands helped lead the Bulldogs to wins over UAB, George Washington and Summit League foe Denver. He recorded a pair of singles wins and went 3-0 in doubles play during the week. Hands defeated Denver's Eric Morris at No. 2 singles and bested GW's Chris Fletcher at No. 1. He teamed up with
Ben Clark at No. 3 doubles as they secured the doubles point over Denver and combined for a 6-0 win over GW and a 6-1 triumph over UAB.
Hands and the rest of the Bulldogs head to Minnesota on Friday to square off against the Gophers at 6 p.m.
