ST. LOUIS – Senior Summer Brills was named Missouri Valley Conference Singles Player of the Week for the second time this season, the league office announced on Tuesday, April 3.
 
Brills went 2-0 for the week at Drake's top singles spot and helped lead the Bulldogs comeback victory over UNI. She cruised past Iowa State's Maty Cancini 6-2, 6-1 and UNI's Gisela Kemper, 6-1, 6-2.
 
Brills improved her singles record 12-2 and extended her winning streak to four matches.
 
The Bulldogs continue MVC play on Saturday as they travel to Valparaiso. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
