Drake University women's golfer Madison Glennie (Clearwater, Fla.) was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division 1 Women's At-Large Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
 
Glennie earned first-team Academic All-America honors to add to her list of academic and athletic accomplishments at Drake. She was awarded the MVC Postgraduate Scholarship last week. This spring, Glennie earned first-team MVC women's golf scholar-athlete honors for the third time in her outstanding career. She has maintained a perfect 4.0 grade-point average as an English and law, politics, & society major. In the fall, Glennie was a 2017 Rhodes Scholar finalist. The senior from Clearwater, Fla., finished her stellar career with a 76.5 round average over 106 career rounds.
 
Additionally, Glennie's honor gives Drake a staggering eight Google Cloud Academic All-Americans this season, tied with Stanford for most in the nation.
