EDISON, N.J. – The Drake University rowing team placed 20 student-athletes on the 2017-18 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll, the MAAC office announced Tuesday, July 17. The Drake rowing program is an associate member of the MAAC.
A total of 2,360 MAAC student-athletes are on the 2017-18 MAAC Academic Honor Roll. The 2,360 honorees are a conference record. Since 2006-07, the total number of student-athletes named to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll has increased each year.
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members in the MAAC. All 25 sports that the conference sponsors are represented.
