DES MOINES, IOWA - The Drake men's tennis program will hold its first annual alumni reunion this fall as the Bulldogs welcome back their former players for a weekend of events at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center (Sept. 24-25).

Head coach Jimmy Borendame and the Bulldogs will host a tennis clinic to support the program to begin the weekend on Friday (Sept. 24) from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

The clinic which will teach tennis fundamentals, strategy, games, drills and point play is open to players ages 5 and up and of all skill levels.  Each participant in the clinic to be run by members of the Drake squad and coaching staff is asked to make a $20 donation to benefit the long-term success of the program, with additional donations also welcome.

Festivities get underway on Saturday (Sept. 25) with an alumni tennis match at 1:00 p.m. pitting current student-athletes against past Bulldogs and will be followed by a Bar-B-Q social at 6:00 p.m.
