Jonathan Cox (Barrington, Ill.) scored 21 points, including a career-high five three-point baskets, as Drake rolled to an 89-46 victory past North Carolina Central to win the Iowa Realty Invitational for the second straight year.
The Bulldogs, winning their fourth game of the week, improved to 6-2, while North Carolina Central fell to 0-8.
North Carolina Central will play Texas-Pan American at 11 a.m. Sunday in the consolation championship.
Cox, who played only 21 minutes, surpassed his combined total of 20 points from Drake's previous two games. He made six of his final seven shots to close out the contest.
Drake tied a season high by making 15 three-point baskets.
Junior guard Josh Young (Lawton, Okla.) added 15 points, including three treys, while sophomore guard Josh Parker (Harvey, Ill.) tallied 12 points off the bench.
The Bulldogs shot over 50 percent from the floor for a third straight game, by hitting a season-high 53.3 percent making 32 of 60 shots.
With the score tied at 16-16, Drake reeled off 11 straight points to ignite a 16-2 run. Cox hit two three-point baskets during the surge.
The Bulldogs erected a 47-25 halftime lead, making eight three-point baskets which rank as the fourth highest one-half total in Drake history.

Drake outrebounded North Carolina Central, 44-26. Fifth-year senior Brent Heemskerk (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and senior Alex White (Albuqueque, N.M.) led Drake with eight rebounds apiece, while Cox grabbed seven boards. Heemskerk's eight boards surpassed his previous two-game combined total of seven.
