IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The Drake University women's rowing team finished a successful row at the Head of the Iowa Regatta in Iowa City, Sunday.

Drake's varsity eight crew, led by Susan Goulette, finished 13th with a time of 15:41.89.

The novice four crew, with Alexandra Kahtava at coxswain, finished in 19:41.62, good for eighth place.

The University of Wisconsin crew won the majority of the afternoon's races, including the varsity eight race. The Badgers finished in 13:47.20, nearly 24 seconds in front of the second-place crew.
