DES MOINES, Iowa - Rolling
off its 10th-consecutive victory, the 72nd-rated Drake men's tennis dispatched

The Bulldogs set the tone for the match by sweeping all three doubles contests

Hamish Weerasinghe at No. 2, 8-4.
The momentum carried over into singles play with senior Mauricio Ballivian (Santa Cruz,
Bolivia) and junior Cesar Bracho
(Luque, Paraguay) extending Drake's lead to 3-0 on the strength of wins at the
Nos. 1 and 5 positions.
Ballivian downed Weerasinghe at No. 1, 6-2, 6-1, to register his 185th
career victory at Drake, while Bracho bested Arthur Romanet at No. 5, 6-1, 6-4.
