LINCOLN, Neb. - The 45th-rated Drake men's tennis team extended its winning streak to three on the strength of its third consecutive 7-0 triumph, dispatching Utah (10-3) on Saturday (March 8).

Juniors Ben Mullis (Leicestershire, England) and Alen Salibasic (Tuzla, Bosnia & Herzegovina) captured the doubles point for the Bulldogs (8-4) recording an 8-7 (5) decision over Devin Lane and Ben Tasevac on the No. 2 court.

Drake also received an 8-3 victory at the top doubles slot courtesy of senior Robin Goodman (Cambridge, England) and sophomore Ben Lott (Newcastle, England).

Lott and Goodman extended the Bulldogs' advantage to 3-0 in singles collecting triumphs at the Nos. 2 and 3 positions, respectively.

Lott bested Tasevac, 6-1, 6-4, on the No. 2 court, while Goodman downed Alejandro Medinilla at No. 3, 6-1, 6-3.

Junior Ravi Patel (London, England) clinched the victory for the Bulldogs edging Lane at the No. 5 position, 6-3, 6-2.

Drake also received wins at the Nos. 1, 4 and 6 slots, respectively, from Salibasic, junior Matt Frost (Cambridge, England) and Mullis.

The Bulldogs close out their weekend road swing battling No. 44 Nebraska on Sunday (March 9). Match time against the Huskers is slated for 2:00 p.m.
