DES MOINES, Iowa – MidAmerican Energy Company is putting the power of renewable energy to work at the 2015 Drake Relays, presented by Hy-Vee. Drake University will use renewable energy certificates from MidAmerican Energy's Pomeroy wind farm, located in Pocahontas and Calhoun counties in Iowa, to offset greenhouse gas emissions associated with the electric consumption of the Drake Relays.
