PEORIA, Ill. – The Drake University men's soccer team closes the 2016 Missouri Valley Conference portion of its schedule this week when it visits Bradley on Wednesday, Oct. 26 and then hosts Central Arkansas Saturday night. Both matches will start at 7 p.m.
Saturday night will be senior night for nine Bulldogs who are in their final seasons. Prior to the match against the Bears, a recognition ceremony will be held on the field at Cownie Soccer Complex for

Drake (4-9-1, 1-4-1 MVC) edged Bradley (2-11-3, 0-5-1 MVC), 1-0, on Oct. 11 in Des Moines, Iowa. LeMay scored in the 69
th minute as the Bulldogs snapped a six-match losing streak with the shutout win over the Braves.
Drake is coming off a 4-3 loss to Evansville this past Saturday night at Cownie. Wypych recorded his first career hat trick, but it wasn't enough to slow the Purple Aces who rallied from 2-0 and 3-2 deficits to earn the comeback win. Wypych leads the team and tied for third in the conference in goals with six.
Bradley is vying for its first win since Sept. 20 when the Braves beat Western Illinois, 2-0. Central Arkansas (5-7-1, 2-3-0 MVC) hosts SIUE Wednesday night before making the trip to the Des Moines. The Bears enter the match against the Cougars riding a three-game winning streak.
Following Saturday night's match, Drake will close the 2016 regular season on Nov. 1 when it hosts a non-conference match against Western Illinois at Cownie. First kick with the Leathernecks is set for 7 p.m.
