DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's tennis team travels to Minneapolis, Minn. for the ITA Central Regional Championships on Thursday through Monday, hosted by Minnesota.
 
The Bulldogs will be one of several teams taking part in this year's event and will see some of the top players in the country. Junior Vinny Gillespie will be one of the top seeded returners as he finished last season as the 10th-ranked player in the Central Region.
 
Senior Calum MacGoech looks to make another deep run as he advanced to the round of 16 in singles and the quarterfinals in doubles with Gillespie.
 
Following the ITA Central Regional Championships, the Bulldogs will close out the fall season at the Gopher Invitational on Nov. 3-5 in Minneapolis, Minn.
