DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's tennis team hosts Nebraska on Wednesday at 6 p.m. before closing out the week with a trip to No. 18 Cornell on Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
The Bulldogs are coming off a consolation title at the San Diego Spring Break Tournament, defeating Harvard 4-2 on March 18 and hold a 11-8 record. Calum MacGeoch led the team last week with a 5-1 combined record enroute to being named this week's MVC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.
 
Nebraska opened the season by losing its first seven matches but since then have won four of its last five matches. In the Huskers' last time out they topped Wichita State, 5-2, on March 18.
 
No. 18 Cornell is 14-2 and holds a perfect 6-0 home record. The Big Red have won six of their last seven matches and are coming off a huge 4-3 win at then-ranked seventh Oklahoma. Cornell's strength is in the middle of its line with the No. 3 and No. 4 spots going a combined 23-1 this season. Colin Sinclair is a perfect 11-0 and has gone 8-0 in the No. 3 spot to lead the middle of the lineup.
 
The Bulldogs will close out the month with a trip to Denver to take on the Denver Pioneers on March 31 and the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos on April 1.
