DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's tennis team is set to travel to Indiana for a pair of matches against Indiana and Purdue. The Bulldogs will take on Indiana, Friday at 6 p.m. before traveling to face Purdue on Sunday at 10 a.m.
 
A pair of losses last weekend against No. 41 Minnesota and Penn snapped Drake's seven-match win streak. Junior Vinny Gillespie had the Bulldogs lone singles win defeating Penn's Kyle Mautner, 6-3, 4-6, 7-5.
 
Indiana is currently 7-5 after dropping a matchup to No. 35 Vanderbilt before defeating Saint Louis last weekend. The Hoosiers are led by Zac Brodney who is 14-6 this season with a 7-3 performance in his last 10 matches.
 
Purdue moved to 5-6 last weekend with a pair of wins over Green Bay and Butler. The Boilermakers have been led this season by Gergely Madarasz who is ranked 61st nationally. Madarasz and teammate Athell Bennett remain undefeated for Purdue in doubles as the 44th ranked team nationally with a 4-0 record.
 
The Bulldogs will travel next week for a trio of matchups in Oklahoma, taking on Tulsa and Oral Roberts on March 10 before facing off against Oklahoma on March 11.
