DES MOINES, Iowa – After allowing an early goal by Iowa Central Community College Wednesday evening, the Drake University men's soccer team blitzed the Tritons, 9-2, in the Bulldogs' second exhibition match of the preseason. Sophomore Leroy Enzugusi (Marion, Iowa) scored four goals, redshirt senior Steven Enna (Overland Park, Kan.) netted three goals and freshman Matt Linberg (Edina, Minn.) had two goals in the easy win at the Cownie Soccer Complex.

"Pleased with the overall performance this evening," said head coach Gareth Smith. "We continue to grow and develop our physical fitness as well as refine and polish different aspect of our team tactical strategies. We were particularly pleased with our ability to create and finish chances which has been a point of focus. There are few thing we need to tighten up on a few things defensively and we look forward focusing on this going into Friday's game."

Following Wednesday's game, Drake closes the preseason slate versus Graceland Friday night. First kick with the Jackets is set for 7 p.m. at Cownie.
