Men’s Basketball Set To Play In Peoria

Bulldogs close out the second of back-to-back road games.

The Drake University men's basketball team plays its second-straight MVC road game Wednesday when it visits Bradley. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on FS Midwest, NBC Sports Chicago and ESPN+.

The Bulldogs are aiming for their second MVC win of the season while the Braves are winless to date in league action. The Bulldogs have won two of the last three meetings between the two teams and are looking to get back into the win column after a road loss at UNI.

Senior Nick McGlynn is averaging 17.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game in MVC action to lead the league in rebounding and rank third in scoring in league games. Meanwhile, sophomore guard Noah Thomas had a career-high 24 points with four three-pointers in the win over SIU in his second career start.

On the perimeter, Brady Ellingson and D.J. Wilkins both rank among the top 10 in three-pointers in Valley games this season with 12 and 10 three-pointers, respectively. That has helpedDrake is average 79.2 points per game this season, the highest mark in the Valley and 63rd nationally.

Following Wednesday's game, the Bulldogs return home to host Missouri State Sunday at 3 p.m.
