SERIES NOTES

Drake improved to 2-0 against the Redhawks in the first meeting between the two teams since 2006 and first in the continental United States as the previous meeting occurred in Fairbanks Alaska.
The win was Drake's second over an Ohio Valley Conference member. The Bulldogs previously bested league champion Murray State, 63-53, in the final game of the Gulf Coast Showcase Nov. 27.
