TEAM NOTES

Drake was held to 36 percent shooting, the first time in the last eight games the Bulldogs have not shot 48 percent or better.
The final 17-point margin was the biggest against an MVC foe this season and just the fourth double-digit loss by the Bulldogs in the last two seasons of Valley action.
SIU held a one-rebound, 34-33, advantage on the glass. The rebounding deficit was just the third Drake has faced in league play this season.
Drake scored 26 points in the paint and is averaging 39.3 points per game in the paint in the last three games.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

With a dunk two minutes into the second half, Liam Robbins hit double-digits in scoring for the 11th-straight game. He finished for 17 points and 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.
During that 11-game span, Robbins is shooting 72-of-127 and 65-of-106 inside the arc.
With a block early in the second half, Liam Robbins earned his 50th block of the season to move into sole possession of fourth place on Drake's single-season blocks list. Former teammate Nick McGlynn's 53 blocks last season are currently third on the list.
Anthony Murphy scored in double-figures for the 12th time this season and hauled in five rebounds. He has had five or more rebounds in four-straight games.
Roman Penn recorded six or more assists in a game for the 13th time this season.
Samm Jones saw 11 minutes of action, his most against Division I competition this season and recorded his second career block.

SERIES NOTES

Drake falls to 35-59 all-time against SIU and 12-34 in Carbondale.
The loss snapped a two-game win streak for Drake in the series. Drake has won four of the last six meetings.
