TEAM NOTES

Drake became the first team in the nation to win 11 games and the only to stand at 11-0 on the season. The 11-0 start is the best in school history, bettering the previous 8-0 start by the 1970-71 team.
Drake is 2-0 in league play for the first time since 2017-18. It is the first time Drake has started 2-0 with two road wins since 1969-70.
Indiana State's two 9-point leads in the first half were the biggest deficits the Bulldogs have faced this season.
The 7-point margin of victory was the first time in 11 games Drake has not prevailed by 10 or more points. The Bulldogs' margin of victory this season is now 23.9 points per game.
Drake's 25 first-half points were a season-low and it marked the first time this season Drake has trailed at halftime.
The road win was Drake's fourth of the season and the Bulldogs are 13-17 in road games the last three seasons.
The win was Drake's eighth in the last three seasons when trailing at halftime.
Drake held a 31-29 advantage in rebounds, the 10th game in which Drake has done so this season.
Drake's 27 points off turnovers marked the sixth time this season Drake has scored 20 or more points off turnovers.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

Roman Penn's 21-point performance was his second 20-point game of the season and fifth of his career. He also had six assists to mark the ninth time this season and 32nd in his career he has had five or more assists.
Joseph Yesufu's 13 points were his second-most of the season and fourth game in double figures.
Darnell Brodie's eight rebounds marked the sixth-straight game he has had seven or more rebounds. During those six games, he is averaging 2.8 offensive rebounds per game.
Penn, Shanquan Hemphill and Yesufu combined to draw 17 of the Sycamores' fouls.

SERIES NOTES

Drake improved to 45-47 all-time against the Sycamores and 15-32 in the Hulman Center.
Drake has won seven of the last eight meetings in the series.
Drake swept three of the last four season series with the Sycamores.
