BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Drake University men's tennis team fell to Indiana, 7-0, in the latest stop in its trip east.
The Hoosiers took the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead in the dual.

Barny Thorold both fell, 6-4. Johansson/Thorold went toe-to-toe with No. 42 Zac Brodney/Bennett Crane and held their own.
Indiana doubled its lead by taking down Johansson at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-1. Johansson squared off against the nationally-ranked Crane. Drake's deficit grew to 3-0 after Fragistas faltered at No. 3, 6-2, 6-2.
The Bulldogs fought to the finish line despite the scoreboard. Matic and Thorold each forced tiebreakers in the second set before eventually bowing out, and Jarvis and
David Nyman each pushed their matches to a third set.
Jarvis took the first set at No. 4, 7-6 (7-5) before dropping the second set, 6-1. He battled in the 10-point tiebreaker but lost, 10-7. Nyman also claimed the first set in his match, 6-3, but fell in the second set, 6-3. Nyman couldn't find an answer in the third set as he lost, 6-0.
Drake travels to Purdue on Sunday for an 11 a.m. dual to conclude its road trip.
