Drake vs. Bradley Postgame Notes

TEAM NOTES
  • The win was Drake's 16th win in its last 17 home games and improved the Bulldogs to 36-6 at home over the last three seasons.
  • Drake's 21-point lead at 11:03 in the second half was its second-biggest lead in an MVC game this season. Drake owned a 24-point advantage in its win at Evansville.
  • Drake held Bradley to 36.5 percent shooting, the third-lowest by an MVC foe for Drake this season. The Bulldogs are 10-2 this season and 21-4 under Darian DeVries when holding an opponent to less than 40 percent shooting.
  • Drake shot 50 percent in the win, its third-highest percentage in an MVC game this season. Drake is 13-3 this season and 34-4 under DeVries when outshooting an opponent.
  • Drake outrebounded Bradley, 24-19, after facing a 10-rebound deficit in the first meeting between the two this season. Drake is 10-3 this season and 28-5 under DeVries when holding a rebounding advantage.
  • Drake scored 70 or more points for the 10th time this season and is 6-4 when doing so this season. 
  • Drake made just four three-pointers, its second-fewest in a win this season. Drake made just three three-pointers in the Mount Marty win. 
  • Drake got to the free-throw line 27 times, its most in MVC play this season. 
  • Drake's bench is averaging 31.5 points per game in the last two games.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
  • Liam Robbins' 29 points were a career-high and the most by a Bulldog since Reed Timmer scored 32 at Bradley in 2018. It was his fifth 20-point game of the season and second against Bradley.
  • Robbins has scored 50 total points in two games against Bradley this season and is shooting 19-of-25 against the Braves.
  • Robbins added seven rebounds and three blocks to extend his school-record season in blocks. He now has 67 blocks this season and 102 career blocks.
  • Garrett Sturtz had his fourth double-digit scoring performance in the last five games with 12 points and seven rebounds. During that five-game span, he is averaging 11.6 points, 7.0 boards, and shooting 23-of-30.
  • Noah Thomas recorded a season-high four assists. 

SERIES NOTES
  • Drake is 67-88 all-time against Bradley and 17-10 against the Braves in the Knapp Center.
  • Drake has won three of the last four meetings and three-straight games in the Knapp Center against BU.
