Two Drake University student-athletes were named to the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete Team, the league announced Thursday, April 16.

Junior Tim Lim was named to the first team, and sophomore Lucas Scherf received honorable mention honors.

Lim led the Bulldogs in scoring with a scoring average of 72.9 over 15 rounds. Received medalist honors after winning a three-way playoff at the SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational. His 54-hole total of 209 (72-71-66) was a career-low. Lim shot 77 or lower in all 15 rounds this season. Lim has a 3.39 GPA as an accounting and finance major.

Scherf tied for third with a scoring average of 73.7 in 15 rounds. Recorded a 54-hole total of 210 in the final event of the season, earning him MVC Golfer of the Week honors. The sophomore shot in the 70s in all 15 rounds he competed in this season, including a pair of rounds in the 60s. The Grinnell, Iowa, native has a 3.78 GPA as a sophomore.
