The Drake Univeristy women's soccer team is set to host in state rival UNI on Thursday Oct. 28 in their final home match of the season. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. and will broadcast on ESPN+.

The Bulldogs are returning home after a 3-2 double-overtime loss at Missouri State. Senior Libby Helverson recorded one goal and one assist in the match. 

Junior Rachel Panther scored for the Bulldogs to take the early lead, but the Bears retaliated and scored twice within less than five minutes of each other. 

The Panthers are headed to Des Moines after defeating Southern Illinois, 3-1, over the weekend.

UNI has out-shot opponents 204-152 this season. 

Lauren Heinsch and Ashlet Harrington lead the Panthers with a combined 11 goals and 29 points this season.

In the two teams last meeting, UNI topped Drake 1-0, but the Bulldogs lead the all-time series 11-5-4.
