Despite falling to Loyola, 4-1, fifth year goal keeper
Kelsie Stone set a new school record for most saves in a match with 18, after facing a career high of 30 shots.

The Bulldogs struggled to maintain possession against Loyola's defense.
"Loyola is a very good squad, but we didn't perform well tonight. Our marking in box defending was poor, as was our ability to compete in the air. There were moments we played through their pressure and were able to ask questions of their back four," said head coach
Lindsey Horner.
With less than five minute left in the first half, Madeline Barone found Jamiee Cibulka who passed to Megan Nemec in the box. Nemec scored to put the Ramblers up 2-0.
The Ramblers recorded a shot 41 seconds after starting the second half, but was stopped by Stone.
Less than three minutes later, Amanda Cassidy scored after receiving a pass from Katherine Stephens at the top of the box. Cassidy's goal put the Ramblers up 3-0.

Libby Helverson found the net behind Maddie Hausmann in the 57th minute to put the Bulldogs on the board.
Despite Helverson's goal, Loyola retaliated with six shots before scoring again in the 71st minute. Taylor Harrison put Loyola up 4-1.
Taylor Harrison, Amanda Cassidy, and Katherine Stephens combined for a total of 14 shots and 10 on goal in the match.
Senior
Alison Walls attempted to score twice with less than 10 minutes left in the match. The first was saved by Hausmann and the second went wide.
The Ramblers out-shot the Bulldogs 30-6 and 22-3 on goal.
"Overall we didn't manage our mindset knowing today would be a tough, chaotic game, and didn't execute the game plan. I know we will respond for Saturday," said Horner.
The Bulldogs hit the road to take on SIU Saturday Oct. 9.
