The Drake University men's soccer team fell to SIUE, 2-1, Saturday evening in Edwardsville, Ill.
The Cougars (2-7-2) out-shot the Bulldogs (6-3-0) 13-6, but Drake received four corner kicks compared to SIUE's three.
Both teams went scoreless in the first half. It wasn't until the 61
st minute that Mitchell Murphy found the net behind Bulldog keeper
Jared Brown. Murphy's goal gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead.
Brown recorded four saves in his 80 minutes in the net. Redshirt freshman
Quinn Millerd finished the match in the net for the Bulldogs, making it only his second time this season.
15 minutes after Murphy's goal, Andres Delascio scored to put SIUE up 2-0.

Erik Fahner each recorded two shots and one on goal for the Drake.
The Cougars were led by Kelby Phillips and Mitchell Murphy, who combined for six shots and three on goal.
A total of seven yellow cards and one red card were given between the two teams.
The Bulldogs remain on the road to take on Bradley on Saturday Oct. 16
