Despite taking the early lead, the Drake University men's soccer team fell to Evansville, 4-2, in the quarterfinal of the Missouri Valley Tournament Tuesday afternoon. 

Drake was forced to play with only 10 players the final 65 minutes of the match due to a player receiving a red card in the 23rd minute.

Senior Juan Louis scored in the 30th minute for the Bulldogs to take the 1-0 lead. 

10 minutes after the Bulldogs took the lead, Evansville scored to tie match 1-1. Edward Mendy scored the Aces first goal of the afternoon. 

The Aces outshot the Bulldogs 8-7 in the first half. 

in the 55th minute, tallied an own goal to take the lead 2-1. Less than 10 minutes after taking the 2-1 lead, Nkosi Graham scored for Evansville to lead the Bulldogs 3-1. 

Drake attempted to craft a number of scoring opportunities, but were unable to get past the Aces defense. 

Graham found the net behind Drake keeper Jared Brown for the second time in the 72nd minute. Pabolo Gullen tallied the assist on Graham's second goal of the afternoon. 

In the 82nd minute, the Bulldogs received a corner kick taken by senior Istvan Wilhelms. Wilhelms got the ball into the box and Louis scored his second goal of the afternoon, after making it past Evansville keeper Jacob Madden. 

The Bulldogs conclude their season with a 6-9-0 overall record.
