Missouri State (5-0-0) was picked first in the MVC preseason poll to finish and its last meeting with Drake, the Bears Lee Dawson scored in the 72nd minute off an assist from Nicolo Mulatero.
The Bears defeated Bradley, 1-0, on March 18 in overtime in their last outing. The Bulldogs also beat Bradley on March 4, 2-0.
In their history, the Bears lead 4-2-2 over the past three seasons.
After returning from Springfield, Drake returns to Drake Stadium Friday March 26 to take on Evansville for the first time this season. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m.
Evansville (0-5-0) has not beaten Drake since Oct. 21, 2017.
The Aces have registered three goals this season but have been unable to come out on top causing a five-game losing streak.
