Tim Lim named MVC Men's Golfer of the Week

Senior led the Bulldogs in the Southern Invitational earlier this week.

Drake University senior Tim Lim has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Thursday, March 4.

Lim carded an impressive 69 in the final round of The Southern Invitational in Palm Beach, Fla. He totaled 211 (72-70-69) throughout the whole Invitational to play into a fourth-place tie along with two golfers from Middle Tennessee, Connor McKay (71-71-69-211) and Owen Stamper (74-72-65-211). Lim finished just four shots behind the tournament leader.

Lim led the Bulldogs who completed the tournament tied for seventh place out of 12 with Stetson. He has been an important piece to Drake's success as Lim has now recorded two top-five finishes over the course of the year.

Lim and the Bulldogs return to action in Phoenix, Ariz. at the GCU Invitational, a two day event, which is set to begin on March 15.
