The Drake men's soccer team will take on Loyola in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament semifinals Tuesday April 13. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. at Drake Stadium.
The two teams fought to a draw in their first meeting (Feb. 28) this season and Drake won 2-1 in the second matchup (March 18) at Drake Stadium. Drake leads 8-6-6 in the all-time series against Loyola.
The Bulldogs are entering the four-team tournament as the No. 2 seed for the first time since 2013. Finishing off the regular season with a 5-2-1 record, Drake scored four goals in its thrilling win over Evansville (April 8).

Istvan Wilhelms leads the Bulldogs with three goals this season. He tallied one goal, two assists, and four points against Evansville.
Tha Ramblers finished the regular season 5-2-1 in conference play and enter the tournament as the number three seed. Loyola beat nationally ranked No. 8 Missouri State on April 8, 2-0, to hand MSU its only loss of the season.
A win would advance Drake to the MVC Championship game Sat. April 17 to take on the winner of the No.1 seed Missouri State versus No.4 seed Bradley match.
