MANHATTAN, Kan. – Tim Lim of the Drake University men's golf team led the team on the final day of the K-State Wildcat Invitational Tuesday at Colbert Hills in Manhattan, Kan. Lim carded a final round 74 to finish tied for 18^th with a score of 223 (71-78-74). As a team, Drake placed eighth in the 13-team field with a team score of 908 (291-306-311). Sam Houston won the event finishing nine strokes better than second-place Kansas City with a final score of 864 (289-295-280).
 
For the Bulldogs, freshman Jack Dumas and senior Shayne Patel each finished tied for 35^th at 228. The duo struggled in their final rounds posting an 81 and 80, respectively. Fueled by five birdies on his scoreboard, junior Nick Pittman shot a final round 76 to tie for 38^th with a score of 229 (73-80-76).
 
George Clarke of Kansas City captured medalist honors helped by his final round 67 (5-under) and 210 (71-72-67) total.
 
Drake hosts the annual Zach Johnson Invitational Sept. 27-28 at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa.
