MANHATTAN, Kan. –
Tim Lim of the Drake University men's golf team led the team on the final day of the K-State Wildcat Invitational Tuesday at Colbert Hills in Manhattan, Kan. Lim carded a final round 74 to finish tied for 18
th with a score of 223 (71-78-74). As a team, Drake placed eighth in the 13-team field with a team score of 908 (291-306-311). Sam Houston won the event finishing nine strokes better than second-place Kansas City with a final score of 864 (289-295-280).

Shayne Patel each finished tied for 35
th at 228. The duo struggled in their final rounds posting an 81 and 80, respectively. Fueled by five birdies on his scoreboard, junior
Nick Pittman shot a final round 76 to tie for 38
th with a score of 229 (73-80-76).
George Clarke of Kansas City captured medalist honors helped by his final round 67 (5-under) and 210 (71-72-67) total.
Drake hosts the annual Zach Johnson Invitational Sept. 27-28 at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa.
