The Drake women's soccer team heads east to take on Evansville on Saturday Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. The match will be broadcast on ESPN3.
The Bulldogs topped Kansas City 2-0 and then tied Western Illinois, 0-0 in double-overtime, in their last two matches.
Sophomore
Emma Nagel scored for the Bulldogs against Kansas City, recording her second goal this season. Kansas City scored an own goal allowing the Bulldogs to win 2-0.
Drake registered 16 shots and seven on goal against Western Illinois.

Olivia Bruce all created numerous scoring opportunities for the Bulldogs, but were stopped by the Leathernecks defense.
MVC Defensive Player of the Week and fifth year keeper
Kelsie Stone tied the school record for most career shutouts after recording her 20th against Western Illinois. She currently has five shutouts this season and has recorded four matches with 10 saves.
Evansville beat UNI, 2-0, in their last match. Emily Ormson leads the Aces with four goals and eight points this season.
Abby Phelps scored both goals against UNI to record her first two this season.
The Bulldogs lead the all-time series with the Aces 14-10-1.
Drake will return to Des Moines after playing Evansville, to take on Indiana State on Wednesday Sept. 29.
