The Drake men's soccer team fell to Loyola, 2-1, in overtime Saturday evening in Chicago.
Despite tying the game in the 83rd minute, the Bulldogs (4-2-0) were unable to stop the Ramblers (4-2-1) in overtime.
Fabian Becerra found the net in the 21st minute after heading in a pass from Benni Hofmann, to put the Ramblers up 1-0.
The Bulldogs were unable to register a shot until the 32nd minute when senior
Louis Yuill attempted to craft a scoring opportunity for the Bulldogs. Yuill's shot was off target due to going over the goal.
Drake was out-shot by the Ramblers 19-12. Drake received 26 fouls in the match, compared to Loyola's 19.

Absalom Solorio-Villalpando took a corner kick late in the 82nd minute. Less than 10 seconds later, senior
TC Anderson headed it in to put the Bulldogs on the board and tie the game 1-1.
Loyola attempted to craft two more scoring opportunities after Anderson tied the game, but were unsuccessful before the clock hit 90 minutes.
In the 97th minute, Hofmann took a free kick for the Ramblers that landed above the head of Oscar Dueso. Dueso hit the crossbar, but Lukas Ender found the ball and headed it into the net. The Ramblers golden goal ended the match.

Jared Brown recorded three saves after facing 19 shots in his 97 minutes in the net.
The Bulldogs remain on the road as they head to Missouri to take on Missouri State on Wednesday Sept. 29 at 5 p.m.
