Des Moines' Hometown Team Week is back with a pair of Drake University basketball games at the Knapp Center. The Bulldog men's basketball team will play host to Bradley on Wednesday (Jan. 19) at 7 p.m. while the Drake women's basketball team is set to welcome rival UNI to town on Friday (Jan. 21) at 6 p.m.
 
The first 1,000 fans at each game will receive a free t-shirt. Fans are encouraged to support the Des Moines community by donating items such as school supplies, children's books, hats, gloves and scarves that will be collected for local schools in Des Moines.
 
There will be a special halftime performance at the women's basketball game on Jan. 21 from kids who participate in Can Play. Visit https://can-play.org/ to learn more about the organization.
